Re: Six Nations
England: Mike Brown, Anthony Watson, Jonathan Joseph, Owen Farrell, Jack Nowell, George Ford, Danny Care; Joe Marler, Dylan Hartley (captain), Dan Cole, Joe Launchbury, George Kruis, Chris Robshaw, James Haskell and Billy Vunipola.

Replacements: Jamie George, Mako Vunipola, Paul Hill, Courtney Lawes, Jack Clifford, Ben Youngs, Alex Goode and Ollie Devoto.

Fucking hell it's like Lancaster is still in charge??

Anyone see Danny Cips again last week?? Or Itoje's MotM performance for Sarries?? Or Josh Beaumont ripping the place up?? Or Sam James at Sale running the show... Obviously not the Aussie in charge... advantage the Jocks

Re: Six Nations
NS

I think he needs this first win under the belt to take the pressure off and will blood them against Italy.

But fuck me, that's an uninspiring team

spot on soldo, what was the point giving the job to this convict cunt?

Re: Six Nations
I see England qualified for this then, that's commendable.

Re: Six Nations
He can do it Panch... and maybe he can do it against Scotland... but when it comes to the big 3 he'll be spat out like a kid... would rather Fraser and Ksevic be given a go ... at least they are 7's in the modern role... we all want Hoopers and McCaw's... and Haskell ain't that .

Northern Sold 12:39 Thu Feb 4
Re: Six Nations
One thing I cannot grumble about is Robshaw... easiest thing to do would be to drop him but fair play he has gone back after the RWC to play 6 and he has not put a foot wrong... seen a fair bit of Quins this year and he has been mustard... he is there as I have not seen a better English 6 this season.. still got me grumblings at 10... Ford been way off the pace this season and the Jocks will target him big time... sticking Farrell at centre is just a safety net for Ford... which seems mental to me...

Council Scum 12:39 Thu Feb 4
Re: Six Nations
In Haskell's defence, he is a better 7 than Robshaw, but he ain't a 7.

A shame Tom Ree's retired through injury, would have been the best 7 out there.

Northern Sold 12:41 Thu Feb 4
Re: Six Nations
Yeah he was superb Scum.... had some of the worse luck for injuries I have ever known... his style is perfectly suited to modern Rugby

Pancho 12:43 Thu Feb 4
Re: Six Nations
Seems a very safe selection.

Surely this was the time to go big?

Or maybe he didn't feel there was much wrong with the selection before - just a bit of tinkering and man management.

England have good players - it was shocking they didn't do more at the WC...

Re: Six Nations
See what he puts out against Italy, but he needs to win this game now

Re: Six Nations
He is under pressure after 0 games?

Forrest Gump got 4 years. 6 actually but the last two are sitting at home counting his cash

Re: Six Nations
First game against a side that rarely trouble us, so yeah, he's under pressure after a shocking World Cup.

Sven Roeder 1:08 Thu Feb 4
Re: Six Nations
A team that is much improved and would have been in the World Cup final but for a refereeing error.

He doesn't have much of a Six Nations record to beat though does he?
One win in 12 years is it

Council Scum 1:13 Thu Feb 4
Re: Six Nations
Semi final not final...

We only lose one game a year in the six nations....

Re: Six Nations
Is Armitage never gonna get a game again so long as he's playing in France?

I'm not the biggest rugby fan, but I like watching England obviously and it seems they may as well get Hodgson to pick the team, as he doesn't select players by form either.

Eerie Descent 1:42 Thu Feb 4
Re: Six Nations
Armitage is being overrated, not picking him is not the problem.

How the fuck Elliot Daly isn't in there, I'll never know. I thought we'd keep Rugby sacred and not go foreign, I'm fucking gutted this cunt is in charge, but that's gone 10 fold after this announcement.

Northern Sold 2:11 Thu Feb 4
Re: Six Nations
Obviously Grumps... as he has picked Ford at 10 who all season has been as flaky as newly cooked sausage roll at Greggs...

Armitage is overrated??
